Bogra District School Center orders publication of revised results of 883 students

The results of 883 students who took the SSC examination at the Bogra District School Center have been ordered to be corrected. The center authorities had mistakenly evaluated the practical examination on the basis of 25 marks instead of 50 marks in the ‘Career Education’ subject and sent the results to the education board. Later, in response to the request of the center secretary, a letter signed by Rajshahi Education Board’s Examination Controller Md. Ariful Islam was issued on Saturday, instructing the correction of the results of those students.

The letter sent to the senior system analyst of the Rajshahi Education Board mentioned that the practical examination of all the candidates of the Bogra District School Center on the basis of 25 marks instead of the prescribed marks of 50 was mistakenly evaluated and sent, the center secretary informed in writing. A request has been made to publish the revised results by inserting 50 instead of 25 marks in the practical examination of the career education subject of all the candidates of that center. In this situation, the candidates of Bogra District School were requested to publish the results after correcting the marks obtained in the practical examination of Career Education by inserting 50 instead of 25. After the SSC results were published last Thursday, the issue of getting low marks in the ‘Career Education’ subject came to the notice of the affected students and parents. Then they protested in the district school premises. At one stage, the teachers of the district school were attacked by the angry students and parents. At that time, some teachers were insulted by the agitated parents. Later, the police came and brought the situation under control.
